Country Jam

It never ceases to amaze me that we have the best groups to show up when the weather is bad and the crowd is off.  That is exactly what happened on this night.

The afternoon of this groups premiering, I received an email from Darin telling me that he was in town and would like to perform for the locals along with Flint Hill.   It was the first group I had heard from that day, so I posted them on our marquee.

As soon as people started showing up I was really getting  a lot of questions about them being there.  After about a dozen inquiries, I was starting to wonder if someone had pulled a joke on me.  I did not get to hear them in the warm-up room, but knew immediately after the first measure that it definitely wasn't any joke.

They are made up of the following:

Darin Aldridge - Mandolin, Guitar and Lead Vocals

Dr. Dean Jenks - Banjo

Wayne Parrish - Guitar

Dr. Bobby Jones - Mandolin and Vocals

Ronnie Sain - Rhythm Guitar

Harold Simpson - Bass and Vocals
