Country Jam

If you are a frustrated "wanna-be" musician (as I am), you might not want to listen to what this group laid down at The Jam.  After you find out that the oldest member is 14, you might just want to pull that old box out of the closet and bust it over the porch rail.  But, on the other hand, if you want to hear the group with the most potential of any you've ever heard, you might just want to check it all out.

All of the members of group are 13 and 14 years old and come to us from the Spartanburg, Dacusville and Greer area.  They are:

Zack Carter - Banjo

Jaime Carter - Mandolin

Will Clark - Guitar & Vocals

Ashley Stevens - Bass & Violin

Brandy Blackwell - Vocals

Zack and Jaime are brother and sister. By the way they play, their linage must be traceable to that other Carter Family.  Will's father tells me that he is actually a mandolin picker  (that's when I busted my guitar).  Ashley really added the icing to the cake with her magical fiddle, while Brandy charmed the packed house with her beautiful voice.
